Oracle CrossTalk: SkillNet, a leading provider of retail consulting and technology services announced it has been selected by Åhléns, one of Sweden’s top retail groups for the implementation of its next generation Retail Planning Solution. SkillNet will leverage best of breed applications to achieve this for pre-season and current merchandising decisions.

Keeping it at a competitive advantage is its strategy to be the favourite shopping destination for women by enriching their shopping experience. When completed, Åhléns’ Merchandise Financial Planning solution will deliver a single, common platform on which its pre- and in-season financial plans based on accurate forecasts can be developed, reconciled, and approved.
